Blake M. Trueblood joined the Trueblood Law Group in May of 2005. Mr. Trueblood earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Florida State University. Mr. Trueblood earned his law degree from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law where he was a recipient of the G.A. Jr. & Kathryn M. Buder Charitable Foundation Scholars in Law Award. Mr. Trueblood has also earned a Masters in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
During his time at the Washington University School of Law, Mr. Trueblood participated in the University’s prestigious Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic where he fought to revise water quality standards in the State of Missouri. Prior to law school, Mr. Trueblood participated in the American Indian Law Center’s Pre Law Summer Institute where he was honored with the program’s Advocacy Award. Mr. Trueblood is an enrolled tribal member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
Mr. Trueblood has significant experience in several forms of civil litigation, including premises liability, personal injury and commercial disputes. Mr. Trueblood also concentrates his practice on economic development and Indian law.
In 2007, Mr. Trueblood established Trueblood Consulting, LLC as a derivative of his law practice to serve clients looking for assistance negotiating, financing and managing economic development projects. Blake is also a regular contributor to i.Business Magazine (www.ibusinessmag.com) and published several articles pertaining to the use and implementation of law office technology.
